Sighted a video of Highlife artiste, K.K. Fosu performing some of his love songs at Bishop Daniel Obinim’s International Godsway Church (IGWC). In the video , the highlife artist was seen performing some of his most popular songs at the Accra branch of Obinim’s Church. K.K Fosu Performed some of his hit songs like ‘Kyere Me’, and other love songs like ‘Obaapa’, and ‘Number 1’. The church members could be seen dancing their heads off as K.K. entertained them with his silky voice. It is not known why K.K. Fosu visited Obinim’s church but the music artiste has been recently been on a media tour as he makes a comeback into the music industry. The performance by K.K Fosu has caused a stir on the internet as Ghanaians questions why secular songs should be sang in a Church . Well, Obinim is not a stranger to controversies as he has always been entangled with controversies one way or the other.
Recall that Bishop Daniel Obinim who is the founder and leader of the International Godsway church has launched a fresh attack on Prophet Nigel Gaisie over his recent comment on him. Recall that Prophet Nigel a few days ago revealed that God’s spirit came upon him and he found himself in heaven where he met many people who are doing God’s work including Obinim.
“Me I saw him in heaven so don’t judge people. Don’t condemn people. The people we are saying they are correct, [the] good English speaking preachers, I didn’t see most of them in heaven. I saw this man, [a] controversial man, I saw him in heaven. I saw Bishop Obinim in heaven,” he told his church members in a recent sermon. Prophet Nigel pointed out that though he was against parts of Obinim’s modus operandi like him giving out lotto numbers, he cannot lie about God’s prophecy about him. Obinim reacting to Prophet Nigel Gaisie’s prophecy said that the latter’s revelation was childish and senseless. “I am not happy about it at all because it’s not making sense. This is childish. If I see you in heaven, I will ask the reason why you are here. Are you mad,” he said. Obinim in an interview on Soul TV disclosed that if Nigel thought lotto was a sin and he saw him (Obinim) in heaven, it would have been prudent to ask why he was there. Bishop Obinim quizzed if Prophet Nigel was mad. “If you claim you saw Bishop Obinim in heaven and hate the lottery, Are you mad?”, he angrily stated. Obinim further declared that he knows himself as a real angel and does not need anybody to give testimonies to that because he is capable of testifying.
